Sammis Street and Ann Street Pump Station Upgrade Project WPCA 2013-1

WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY FOR THE CITY OF NORWALK
SAMMIS STREET PUMP STATION FLOOD DAMAGE UPGRADE – WPCA2013-001

The Water Pollution Control Authority for the City of Norwalk (WPCA) solicited bids for the installation of a new above grade electrical building, the replacement of the wastewater sewage pumps and all electrical equipment, including the standby power generator at the Sammis Street Pumps Station. The project also includes various upgrades to the pump station’s main electrical service with associated civil, structural and electrical work. In addition to the work at the Sammis Street Pump Station, the Ann Street level monitoring equipment shall be replaced and relocated as part of this project.

Sealed bids were received at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Norwalk, at the City Hall, 125 East Avenue, PO Box 5125, Norwalk, Connecticut 06856-5125 until 2:30 PM on Thursday, November 7, 2013.

The apparent low bid was submitted by Delray Contracting, Inc. for the amount of $1,459,718.00 and they were sent the notice of award and the notice to proceed. Work began in May, 2014. Bid tabulation is available by clicking on the image below:
