OMI

OMI is a division of CH2M HILL Engineering. OMI is one of the largest contract operating firms in the United States and is entirely US/Employee owned. OMI operates the Norwalk facilities as part of a long term 20 year contract that started in 2000. While the WPCA continues to own all of the facilities and sets its own rates, OMI is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facilities, all of the staff and operating costs for the treatment plant, pumping stations and collection system.
